Introducing: Kuat Varial Rooftop Cargo Box

Kuat has a reputation for making premium products with unique features, particularly in the bike rack game. Lately, they’ve been expanding their product lines further past bike, snow, and kayak carriers to include the Dek rooftop platform, Ibex truck racks, and now: the Varial rooftop cargo box. 

Like all Kuat products, Varial has a distinct look and a unique feature set. Unlike most cargo boxes on the market that open on the left and right sides, Varial pivots from the front to open at the rear. This allows access from both sides, in addition to the back of the vehicle, all at once. Gas struts are used to lift and support the lid.

Varial can handle 18 cubic feet of cargo that weighs up to 165 pounds, and fits skis up to 195cm long. The included universal mounting hardware fits most crossbar systems, and an optional T channel mount kit is available separately for seamless integration to T-slot compatible crossbars.
